Samara found her passion in tribal dance through classes with the Gypsy Caravan (Portland, OR). In 2001 she began dancing and choreographing for Earthdance (Welches, OR). Samara has had the pleasure of being a teacher and performer in the Oregon bellydance community for over a decade. During this time she has been gifted with opportunities to dance, teach, and learn with a family of friends in Portland, Welches, Corvallis, Bend, and most recently Eugene and Albany. Viper Central: Americana Bluegrass What's the most ridiculous band name you can possibly think of? For six young bluegrass and old-time musicians from the West Coast, it was "VIPER CENTRAL"! What began as an outrageous inside joke on a beer-infused night at the Montmartre Café in Vancouver has become, in fact, the ultimate parody of itself: a cult phenomenon - an acoustic ensemble specializing in "that old southern sound" - and they're from Canada. "Eh?!!" Hear Viper Central at www.ViperCentral.ca

He has a great, scraping voice and a nimble, dirty way with the guitar." - Victory Music Review, Tacoma, WA 2006. Friday, March 5, 8pm Alaskan born artist Marty Baggen cuts a swathe through avant-garde, pop, and new age with lyrical twists and turns. Allegorical riddles wrapped with metaphorical tapestry makes the listener feel as though Baggen has eavesdropped into their most baffling moments. Yet, the invasion is comforting and resounding. Fronting a quartet featuring Eugene bassist Terry Takahashi, Corvallis keyboardist/vocalist Carolyn Krueger, and Albany percussionist Joe Connolly, Marty Baggen brings an offering of original alternative pop from each of his four albums. Fans of Bowie, Velvet Underground, and Pink Floyd will take a liking to the lyrically driven melodies "This man is not famous, and may never be but he damn well should be!" writes Stephanie Guinn of the Indie Reviewer. "Pure pop that rivals The Goo Goo Dolls in their finest hour" writes Greg Mandel of the Oregonian. Hear Marty online at myspace.com/martybaggen

TBA, Comin' Soon! Formerly Hines is an eclectic mix if
music flavors. Rock, jazz, country, folk, classical and big band.
This is a band with few illusions about how music must be torn
apart and rediscovered at every junction on a page of words and
notes. All, but a very few, of the songs and tunes heard by this
band are original. They tend to stretch the thoughts when laying
down a track or writing a word for the right phrasing to make
a song fly.
